(Telamichious) NRP: Telamichious is now part of Destiny assuming the members of Destiny don't slaughter him before they allow them to join his ranks. He has resumed full control over his abilities, and has slight control of the symbolic powers that are fused into his body.

(Mary) hamete.org/dserver/diceDice rolls: 1, 6 Verification number: n8jwxxjz9q9gz2hv638ixrsd9161xb0 Mary crouched low in the foliage. She was trying to stay out of sight as much as possible, and was thankful the forest provided her with cover. Even when not moving about as a shadow she was still quite skilled at stealth. Ahead of her a man moved through the wood. He was following some kind of glowing symbol that hovered in the air in front of in and marked out the direction he was to follow. He didn't look to be either hostile or the source of this universe's problems, but when it came to people with that kind of power she could never be too cautious. The man came to the edge of the wood and walked out of it without changing his pace. Mary stopped at the edge and observed him from a distance as he neared the small quaint settlement that seemed to be nestled in the middle of what she had come to realize was the underworld. A clergyman stepped out of the church that seemed to dominate the settlement and greeted the man with open arms. While the two men talked, Mary slipped unnoticed to the edge of the village and reached the rooftops by vaulting up the walls in a narrow alley. She walked quietly to the edge and peered over, hoping to see what the two men were discussing. "I'm sorry, but I cannot stay." The man with the glowing symbol was saying. "There is a great evil arising from the depths of Hell, and I must go down to fight against it." The priest nodded and placed his hands upon the man's shoulders to bless him. "May God watch over you and protect you, child." The man nodded thankfully. "Your blessings are much appreciated, Father," he replied. "Will your companion be coming with you?" the priest said as he motioned towards the rooftop where the eavesdropping Mary had attempted to conceal herself. The symbol covered man looked up in shock and opened his mouth to speak. Mary saw no point in attempting to hide when she had been found out already and leapt down from the low roof. She landed as gracefully as she could manage. Her eyes cut into the priest like daggers. She wished she knew how he had discovered her so easily. The priest chuckled. "I guess you two are not traveling together, then." His warm smile put Mary a little more at ease. "You seem surprised that I found you." His eyes took on a far off somewhat unhappy look. "I'll not speak of what I was in life, but I have not lost all of those old ways." Mary took his declaration in stride. It did not surprise her in the least to be talking to a dead man in such a manner. Manipulators came to expect this kind of thing after a while. "I am Mary Fasmas," she declared, "And though the evil you speak of is none of my business, it may very well be the source of my concern. If you will allow me to accompany you deeper into this netherworld, I can explain on the way" The man looked at her as if sizing her up. "What do you expect you'll be able to do? I am Telamichious Lei Scuraluce, the last Darklight Elemelon, but you seem to be a mere mortal. The creatures that seek the destruction of this world are powerful, incredibly so. They wield magic of all forms and are as cunning as they are wicked. What hope do you think you have against them?" Mary smiled a bit. "If I go with you, I could explain that as well."

(Kyi\\Finch) Finch awoke with a stale feeling in her stomach, one that she was used to. The numbness of her life had returned. She held back a sigh as she pushed herself to stand, the hounds stirring and yipping at her movement. The wolves simply lifted their heads to watch, then slowly pawed over. Tiredly, she stared down at them, sliding her hands back into her jacket pockets. Her star twitched to the side, to save her from accidentally cutting herself between her fingers.
Now what had it been that woke her? Footsteps. But where from? Who from? Finch heard it again, this time closer. She turned slowly, watching her following pack of dogs' movements from the corner of her eye. They gazed around, each in slightly different directions. There was a ruffle, dimmed by the rough winds. Then a bare tree's branches twitched; Finch darted. She tore behind the tree, tackling the person on instinct. A girl screeched, kicking her feet at Finch's stomach, which sent her whirling back, only to land, skidding, across the sandy grounds. The girl from behind the tree glared, then lunged out at Finch, causing them both to tumble. The three hounds and two wolves barked and howled, but stayed at bay.
Kyi coughed loudly, then kicked off of Finch again, landing softly beside her, laying on her side. Finch swallowed and stood, staring down at the panting, brown-haired girl.
"Well, 'scuse me. Who the Hell are you?" Kyi spat, pushing herself to sit.
Finch half-expected the girl to be smirking, but instead she looked confused and a bit surprised. Hesitantly, she turned to show her jacket's left shoulder, the grayish letters of FINCH sticking out against the black.
"Finch? That's interesting. Funny, we almost have the same jacket." Standing now, Kyi pushed out one of her shoulders to show the Celtic cross on her jacket in red. She hadn't orginally wanted it there, but still hadn't gotten around to taking it off.
Finch forced a tiny, itty bitty smile. It faded quickly. "Where are you from?" She whispered lightly, her voice shaky and snake-like.
"Black Moon. The Haven, to be exact. I'm Kyi, by the way," Finch nodded a little, looking away towards her little pack of dogs, gulping from the mention of Black Moon.
"Against Hell?" Finch said softly, again.
Kyi blinked and shrugged. "Defending the Queen, I'm guessing you know about that. What's been happening down here?"
"War."
"Ah.." The bionic one-winged girl coughed again, covering her mouth with her jacket sleeve. "So whatcha doing here?"
"Waiting."
"You don't like to talk much, do ya?" She paused, "Who are you waiting for?"
"The others. On our side."
"Sweet, I'm on someone's side. Not alone anymore." Kyi smiled lightly. "How many we got?"
"Four, not counting us. Unless someone died." Finch scowled.
"How many do they got?"
Finch shrugged unknowingly. "I know they've got at least a few."
"More than us?"
Finch nodded a little, shrugging at the same time.
"So we wait, then," Kyi said, hiding a frown and taking a seat by one of the bare trees. Finch took back to a tree three away from Kyi, her pack following and this time encircling her completely like a shield. They still seemed a bit uneasy about Kyi, and paranoid about others coming.

(MaryVasmas) ( OOC – I’m sorry for being MIA so long. I was waiting for our Elemeleon friend to post, and I guess I got into the habit of waiting too much.) hamete.org/dserver/diceDice Rolls: 6, 1 (Bleh!) Verification number: ksgp9v4yuudklpns0iexqjhe95oxuk1 The two companions hardly spoke as they trudged ever downward into the gloom. The hope that had so permeated the air in the level above seemed to have vanished completely. It was not what Mary would describe as Hellish here, but it was becoming ever blander. She sensed that this was some form of afterlife in this dimension and dreaded the thought of being forever trapped in such monotony. She looked at the Elemeleon and found his eyes staring back at her and squinting curiously. “What is it?” she asked quickly at the unasked question that was so evident in his features and the tilt of his head. “There’s something different about you… a power that wasn’t there a moment ago.” Mary looked down at herself and gave a little start. The crossing had come so easily she had hardly even noticed it. She had been manipulating it almost by instinct while her mind wandered and mulled over what might or might not lay ahead. She laughed a little as she spoke, “I told you I had some hidden talents.” She spent some time explaining the work of the Manipulators and describing the nature of the many universes, the crossings, and the anomalies. When she began to discuss how she manipulated the crossings she demonstrated a few weaker abilities the current alignment was granting her he interrupted her with what seemed like a torrent of questions. “Are you meaning to say that anyone could learn to use these alignments?” Mary nodded, “There is a certain amount of talent, but just about anybody can be trained given enough time.” Telamichious frowned thoughtfully, “And the anomaly… the people in whom it is embodied… do they gain such powers as well?” Mary grimaced. “It depends, really. Sometimes they do, and sometimes they don’t. I can’t really give any rhyme or reason as to why.” She peered out thoughtfully, “But when they do, the powers will equal the Goddess herself.” Her head turned back towards the Scuraluce and he saw a slight glint in her eye as she winked at him and continued. “Fortunatly, they create about a twenty or thirty foot buffer around their body where any well trained Manipulator can get at least a goodly portion of those powers, and the Manipulator at least has the advantage of knowing where the power comes from exactly.” She mumbled slightly to herself and even the sharp ears of the last Darklight almost missed it. “What was that?” Mary turned to face him and he saw the concern evident in her features. “No Manipulator has ever been able to destroy an anomaly alone when there were even as few as twenty universes being drawn to the anomaly. I just can’t tell how many are involved right now, but my gut is telling me it’s going to be bad.” “Do you think there is an anomaly here, in this place?” “Well,” Mary sighed, “Every situation is different… but my guts are still telling me there’s something down there.” She squinted into the distance, “Something really, really bad.” The Darklight turned his head back towards the path ahead and the two trudged ever downward. The darkness that embraced them as they entered the second level of Hell didn’t bother Mary in the slightest but it put the Scuraluce on edge. As the wind picked up Mary soon found herself matching her companion’s disposition.

(Onizuka) (Continued from the Third)
They didn't wait too long. A shadow fell across the ground and then substantiated as two winged beings and their wounded passenger dropped in. Onizuka crouched for a moment, wiping blood from his mouth with his wrist, as Mithos limped by him. "You're alive," Onizuka remarked with some surprise, seeing Finch sitting quietly at the small camp. Instead of turning to welcome the man, however, she took a glance and turned away, resting her head in her hand. The pack she'd gained stared at him, some panting, others looking from him to Finch to ascertain if he was a threat. The other girl stood up to greet the newcomers, but stopped short at Onizuka.
"You're naked." She said pointedly.
Onizuka chuckled lightly, though it hurt the tear deep in his gut to do so. "So I am. Onizuka, former lord of the Styx. Here on my right is the mercenary Mithos, and back behind us here is..?"
"Thanatos," the bearded man supplied, saying nothing more but looking about in idle curiosity.
"Why are you naked?" Kyi asked, putting her hands into her pockets and looking at him awkwardly. "I'm Kyi, from the Black Moon. Actually, it looks like I'm the only one from the Black Moon who's come on behalf of the Queen."
"A pleasure to meet you, Miss Kyi," Thanatos said warmly. "If I may interrupt, I do have the capacity to generate cloth, among my other skills."
"Please do," Finch said abruptly, not bothering to look up.
Within several minutes Onizuka pulled on a roughly-threaded shawl with a simple metal clasp at the throat, and Thanatos had afforded Mithos some cloth as well so that he may bandage the wounds he'd endured. They sat in a loose circle around a small fire, hemmed in by the twisted trees. Finch with a wolf practically in her lap, her other companions milling about as if on guard. The light in the level was dimming again, and before long the storm overhead had swallowed all the light, forcing night upon the terrain.
"Finch said there were four of you she was waiting for, what happened to the other?" Kyi asked, crossing her legs and leaning back on her palms. Onizuka stared at the ground, seemingly lost in thought for a moment before responding. "We lost both Zeroth and BioDiesel," he said regretfully, evoking a sudden glance from Finch and a start from Kyi. It must be the same Zeroth, Kyi thought grimly. Finch simply stared off, not wanting to think about it. Onizuka looked up at Thanatos, "We met this gentlemen here mid-battle and he joined us in our retreat." The finely dressed man grinned. "He means to say that I saved their sorry skins." "Bah," Mithos said, folding his wings about him for warmth. The Cruxis excused himself and retired for the night.
Wanting a change of subject, Kyi glanced about the remaining trio. "You all have..abilities, right?"
Thanatos smiled cheerfully and nodded. "As you've seen, I can shape cloth. I have the ability of flight and am not unskilled with a sword. I have various other, unimportant magics at my command. Perhaps I could show you more, later on," he remarked with a twinkle in his eye.
Unsure of how to take that, Kyi turned to Finch, who answered by taking out her delicate looking throwing star, with it's intricate snowflake design. She turned it over in her fingers, letting it catch the light of the campfire. Kyi leaned in closer to take a look at it, but the wolf in Finch's lap gave her a bare-lipped stare. "It's pretty," Kyi said politely, leaning back. "How'd you pick up the wolves and hounds," Onizuka asked, but Finch's thoughts were elsewhere and she simply shrugged.
The former lord of the Styx sighed. "My abilities are spent. I'm not going to last much longer, either. That last wound did me in, I believe." Kyi looked somewhat alarmed. "I'm sorry to hear that," she said, unable to think of anything else. The man in the shawl nodded back towards Mithos. "He can fly as well, not bad with the sword. And you?"
"I have wings, though I'd rather not show them right now. I can change into something kinda like a fox, so if you see a black one running around don't..eat it, or whatever. I have control over wind, too."
"Great to have you with us, things were looking a bit bleak for a while. I think we'll be camping here, attacking the enemy forces when they enter this level. And now--" Onizuka slowly leaned onto his side and tucked his legs inside the shawl, "I must rest. If I don't wake in the morning..bury me."
